Jin, also known as behindinfinity, is an internationally recognized cosplayer from the Philippines who is known for versatile and charismatic character portrayals, as well as cinematic photo shoots. Some of her well-known cosplays include Hiro Hamada from Big Hero 6, Naruto Uzumaki from Naruto, and Kenshin Himura from Rurouni Kenshin.
Jin has a large international following due to active participation in various platforms of social media, which reaches viewers from all over the world. Jin blogs about her cosplay process and adventures with her friends, known collectively as Tux Team. Many of their cosplay photo shoots have become viral hits because of their faithfulness to the source material, brought to life by Tux Team’s careful treatment of costume detailing, characterizations, and creative photography. They have been prominently featured by various international media outlets such as BuzzFeed, Kotaku, RocketNews, Fuji TV, and many more. Jin’s passion for cosplay has led to opportunities such as being the official Kenshin representative at the red carpet premiere and press conference of Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno, upon the invitation of Warner Bros. Philippines and Warner Bros. Japan.
Jin has become an established figure in the cosplay community due to constant guest appearances at local and international events during which she takes time to share cosplay knowledge through panels and workshops, meet and talk to her fans as well as promoting a healthy attitude towards cosplay. Jin shares much of her work and experiences online, constantly showcasing the artistry in cosplay, while upholding the values of fun and friendship in the hobby. Jin has received numerous awards related to cosplay and excellence in social media, but to her, the greatest reward is being able to inspire creativity and happiness in the people who appreciate what she does.
Haiden Hazard is an up and coming cosplayer who loves anime and comic books but mostly gaming
She began cosplaying in early 2013 and has loved it ever since. In the beginning, like most, she didn't make every single cosplay she wore, but she made most and once she realized her love for sewing she began making all of her costumes and has never stopped!
She is a regular guest at many conventions in the Southeast where she hosts panels, judges cosplay contests and has a booth where she meets attendees for photo ops, autographs and has merchandise available.
Her skills include, but are not limited to: Waiting until the day before the convention to finish her costumes, touching her nose with her tongue, spray painting, telling bad jokes and writing in third person.
Pion Kim has been cosplaying since 2013 and has appeared at Anime Matsuri in Houston, TSCC in Taiwan and Animecon in The Netherlands. A native from Seoul, her cosplay is starting to get recognition around the world. Her breakout costume - cosplaying as the Overwatch Character Sombra, has been hailed as the best Sombra cosplay in the world. She is among the rising stars in the cosplay community and is always looking to push new frontiers in pursuit of her passion.
Philip Odango is an award-winning artist, designer, producer, director and actor. With over a decade of experience in directing and producing over two dozen theatre productions, he is known for his costume work with his stage name Canvas Cosplay. He has appeared as a cosplay guest, costume contest judge and panelist, including San Diego Comic Con, Disney’s D23 Expo, New York Comic Con and Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2). His costumes have been featured in national publications such as The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, International Business Times UK, Forbes Magazine and in industry media, including Cosplay Culture Magazine, Cosplay in America, Kotaku and Fashionably Geek.
His award-winning Doctor Strange costume was officially featured by MARVEL, and he was commissioned to produce a replica prop for The Jimmy Kimmel Show. A seasoned cosplay competition champion, his most recent cosplay of Maui from Disney’s Moana won second place at the Crown Championships of Cosplay in Chicago. He is the official Cosplay Brand Ambassador for SINGER Sewing Company.
Alodia Gosiengfiao is a household name when it comes to cosplay. She has been cosplaying for almost 12 years since 2003 and has been named the most popular cosplayer in the world by a recent article by www.TheRichest.com and currently has over 5million subscribers on her Facebook page. She is also the founder of the international cosplay FB group Cosplay Circle which aims to unify everyone with the same passion. But other than cosplay, she has appeared in movies, TV shows, loves to play video games, draw and play game music on the piano, collects Ball Jointed Dolls & Dollfies, and has guested as a cosplay judge and/or performer in various conventions all over the world - Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan, Italy, Australia, USA, Canada, Guam, Dubai, Qatar, etc.
An artist and gamer by heart, she has also collaborated on different video games in the past - eg. designed characters for Tinier Me and did a commercial for Hatsune Miku Project Diva for PS Vita in Japan. Right now, she is based in Manila and Tokyo and currently very active in the entertainment industry in Japan. She has released a JPop music album 2014 and has starred in a Japanese movie entitled “Crossroads” under Toei Productions which was released in November 2015.
Myrtle Abigail Sarrosa, commonly known as Myrtle Gail, is a 21 year old cosplayer, model, recording artist, VJ, performer, and actress from the Philippines. She is labeled as the Cosplay Cutie of Iloilo during her entrance at the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4, The Big Kick-off.She was the Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federation President at her hometown, Barotac Nuevo, in province of Iloilo. She attended University of the Philippines in the Visayas as a BS Accountancy Student prior to entering PBB but now taking up Bachelor in Broadcast Communication at the University of the Philippines – Diliman Campus.
Shortly after winning PBB, she starred in supporting roles on the telenovela Kahit Puso’y Masugatan, and comedy sitcom TodaMax, as well as Hero TV’s Official VJ where she was also a co-host of a I-Cosplay. From then on, she continuously hosts the events of Hero TV. She was also the featured artist on Young JV’s hit song ‘Your Name’.
In 2013, she released an EP album consisting of 4 remakes of classic OPM hits such as Mr. Kupido and Mr. DJ, and an original song B.N.B. (Baliw na Baliw). A music video for Mr. Kupido was also released featuring Enrique Gil. That year, she continued her studies after she got accepted at the University of the Philippines in Diliman.
In 2014, she appeared on Star Cinema’s adaptation of Once A Princess with Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee, and stars in the Cinemalaya short film entry, Lola, and the indie film, Ibaloi. She also got a minor recurring role in the afternoon telenovela Moon of Desire. Later than year, she graced the cover of FHM’s November 2014 issue.
In 2015, she appeared with a temporary role on the hit teleserye, Forevermore. She then began being a regular feature host for the morning show Umagang Kay Ganda. She also joined the cast of the movie ‘Just The Way You Are’. Since the NCAA returns to ABS-CBN Sports+Action 23, she was tapped as a celebrity courtside reporter. Shortly after, she was introduced as one of the alluring set of ladies of Star Magic Angels. She also made it as one of the 8 celebrity contestants competing on the 2nd season of the singing and impersonation competition ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar’.
